Sylvie Lewis is a singer/songwriter, currently based in Rome, Italy. Born in London, England, she came to the United States in 1995 and studied at the Berklee College of Music. After some travelling, she relocated to Los Angeles, where her self-released EP "Beautiful Mess" was heard by Cheap Lullaby Records, and she was signed to a deal. She released her debut album Tangos and Tantrums in 2005 to good reviews, and has toured the United States and the United Kingdom since then. Her second album "Translations" was released in mid 2007, again to good critical reviews. Her music draws influences from folk, jazz, chanson and cabaret.
