Syloken is a five-piece progressive rock band from Norman, Oklahoma. The band was founded in 2004 by vocalist/bassist John Thomas(also from Zebre, Thereogy, ***, Magnificent Bird) in 2004. The band also includes guitarist Chris McDaniel (also from FRMR, Ghost of Monkshood, *** & Gaea Spore), keyboard/percussionist Brendan Furneaux (Gaea Spore), guitarist Alex Hake, and drummer Zach Hollandsworth(also played with Ghost of Monkshood and Magificent Bird). To date Syloken has released 2 full length CD's and 1 E.P. with Zanzibar! Records.
