A voice confined inside a piano cage Sygmalion is a pop-rock musical project, soft and melodic, in the vein of bands like Coldplay, Keane or U2, with abundance of piano parts and lyric, uplifting vocal melodies. Sygmalion's lyrics, both in Spanish and in English, deal with varied topics, ranging from the everyday to the philosophic, and including dreams, mystic revelations... well, you better read them and decide for yoursef. The project is born in the end of 2007, in Valladolid, SP, after the band Sed split up, as an outlet for the creative impulses of some of its components. Its main impulsor was vocalist and keyboardist Luis Pablo Prieto but, since then, David Santander (also from Sed) has joined the band doing guitars and basses.
