Based out of Philadelphia, PA (Originally from Madison, CT), Swimmingpool The Band has been prolifically releasing music since 2006. The only consistent member of the band is Seamus Stimpson. Diana P. became an official member in 2009, adding her vocals and cello talents to the band. In January 2008 (starting with Days Run Away I:), Swimmingpool The Band started to move away from lyric based (more conventionally written) songs to ambient/drone pieces. Since then, the band has recorded over 90 full length albums, all released online for free. Swimmingpool The Band also feels incredibly uncomfortable writing in third person, but realized that that's kinda what bands do.
