In the very short period of time since (through constant work & writing), they have developed a fantastic working relationship continuing in the rich musical tradition the area (everything from Nina Simone to John Coltrane to George Clinton). Recklessly combining elements of sound from dub to rock, they have created an exciting sound that successfully blends genres & has helped to gain fans around the world. Their first promotional release, “Windows”, secured the group a publishing deal with In The Groove (of Minneapolis) and was downloaded by DJ’s & fans over 175,000 times. From an early age, Irene has expressed herself through music. Growing up as a “military brat”, Irene has been all over the world in pursuit of new sounds. From New Zealand w/Steve Ross & Tony Battle (Freedom) to Los Angeles w/Justin Smith (Soma323), working on film scores & then back to Charlotte, North Carolina as Sweet Irene. Irene feels that she has finally found the perfect musical companion to her vocals. Scott is the owner of Asylum Digital Recording Studios in Charlot
