The German-Australian glam rock band Sweet Electric was founded in 2022 in Cologne, Germany. The name plays on contrasts: "Sweet" represents the playful, charming side of glam rock – glitter, melody, and fun. "Electric" embodies the raw energy, powerful guitar riffs, and electrifying stage presence. In short: retro meets future, glam meets power, fun meets substance. It's an explosive blend of heavy rock, glam rock, and retro rock 'n' roll. Their songs evoke the best of the 70s and 80s, combined with modern guitar riffs and bittersweet melodies.
