Світлана Няньо (Svitlana Nianio), also known as Світлана Охріменко (Svitlana Ochrimenko), is a musician from Ukraine. Svitlana is a member of Цукор Біла Смерть (Cukor Bila Smert'). Her first solo album, "Kytytsi", was released in 1999 on the Polish label Koka Records. The aura of her voice and the simplicity of her compositions suggest folk roots. However, its base is in fact derived from the musical avant-garde of today. Straight from the heart of ancient folk songs comes the tenderness in her voice, Svitlana frames it with sounds of pure minimalism. Her music has been described as "Deeply rooted in primeval myths, creating a world of magic realism, in which the temporal dimension and the other world constantly move and permeate."
