Svarte is an underground black metal project from the town of Alexandria, Egypt, formed by the members of the band Monokromia (Yakout and Sherif). They create dark atmospheric soundscapes inspired by the writings of J. R. R. Tolkien. Current members are Lord Valke (Sherif Zaki) and Shadow Lord (Yakout).
