Susanne Maria Therese Doll (* 1956 in Munich) is a German organist. She is a daughter of the church musician Karl M. Doll. Doll studied from 1972 to 1979 at the Munich University of Music and Theater with Hedwig Bilgram (organ) and Christiane Jaccottet (harpsichord), and continued her studies with Harald Genzmer (composition), Fritz Schieri (choral conducting) and Diethard Hellmann (orchestral conducting). She also completed master classes with Michael Radulescu, Marie-Claire Alain and Floor Peters. After her first positions as an organ lecturer (Bayreuth University of Protestant Church Music) and church musician in Landshut (district cantor at the Christ Church from 1981 to 1985), she became Heiner Kühner's successor at the Paulus and Leonhardskirche in Basel in 1991; She held this position until her retirement in 2020. To this day, Doll directs the after-work organ series initiated by Kühner in 1973 at the Leonhardskirche. She is a youth award winner makes music, the Felix Mottl Foundation and the city of Linz (International Anton Bruckner Organ Competition). She deals intensively with the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach, Olivier Messiaen and Marcel Dupré.
