As with most things of substance Surviving Savannah was formed from the ashes of a collection of broken dreams and visions. Hailing from the Sheffield, in deepest, darkest Yorkshire. The quartet formed at the end of 2010 and began developing their own blend of alt rock. Spring 2011 saw the release of three tracks from the forthcoming ‘Mythology EP’. Each mixing the sensibilities of traditional song writing, the angst of the progressive alternative scene and big lyrical hooks; Surviving Savannah have encapsulated a niche all of their own.
