SURVIVE TO RISE. The band's name is the very idea and concept that each of the members wish to convey through their music. The group formed in August 2008, and existed with various lineup permutations, till Tejas (vocals/singing), Scott (vocals), Daniel (guitar), Joe (bass), and Lawrence (drums) came together in the fall of 2009. Despite being 5 like-minded individuals, each member has and brings their respective varied musical background to the table; together, the group utilizes an open-minded, multifaceted range of sounds in the composition of their music. Taking time to develop their sound, the quintet formed fluid, dynamic, melodically charged sonic frequencies that find roots in the hardcore and metal worlds. Dismantle The Construct is the group's 5 song debut EP, that ultimately has a singular unifying message the band wish to share with others. SURVIVE TO RISE means just that - facing fears, making choices, tearing down obstacles, and overcoming that which prevents us from realizing the true potential of our lives.
