Supernatural Beings is a jam band originating in Chicago, IL composing of members Marcus Rezak (Digital Tape Machine, Shred Is Dead), Joel Cummins (Umphrey's McGee), Kris Myers (Umphrey's McGee, Kick The Cat), and Hash Yvas (Thievery Corporation). Their shows are almost entirely improvised and draw from jazz, funk, reggae, and progressive rock influences. They have played 2 shows as of Feb 24, 2018, both at Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple in Denver, Colorado on February 23rd & February 24th. They also have a planned show at the first weekend of the 2018 installment of Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan June 21-24. Like many jam bands, Supernatural Beings promote taping and free distribution of their live shows.
