Hello. We are Super U. We like playing music together and travelling around the place. We've been together in various guises for about 9 years now, and are way past caring if we ever 'make it' or not. At the moment the sum of our ambitions is to finish our debut album 'We Live in Bazakhstan', which we are recording in various living rooms and studios here in Brighton with many of our wonderful musical friends. Friends such as Marty Jenkins, Adam Morton, Paul Beat, Alima Boog and Will Calderbank, who have all helped us enormously and whom we owe many drinks. The plan when we finish it is to release it on our own Sack The Juggler label. Every now and again we venture out of Brighton to play shows in different towns which is usually good fun. These shows have ranged from a good night playing a festival in France, to an equally good night playing a night in Manchester that was totally dead. We're pretty useless at describing our music but last time someone referred to it as 'folk tinged ponce rock' which will do for now.
