There are a number of artists known as Sundry: 1. The most popular was an American alternative rock band consiting of Chris Coleman-Drums & Vocals, Brian Gauthier-Bass & Vocals, Mark Gibson-Lead Vocals and Mike Payne-Guitars & Vocals. Their most popular album called "The Toughest No-Brainer Yet" was released in 2000 on True Tunes Records and distributed by Diamante. Their song "The Least of These" featured Mac Powell of Third Day. 2. Sergey Korystov is a Progressive House/Deep House artist from Orenburg, Russia. They do an excellent job of melding together uncompromising funky chunky rock'n'roll with strong melodies and the results make for a compelling album. "Enough's Enough" and "Inside Your Head" both demonstrate the power of the band and it's interesting that they have some high profile friends help out which can only be a good thing. Third Day's Mac Powell adds his distinctive voice to "The Least Of These" which grinds along with a relentless riff. Meanwhile Smalltown Poet Michael Johnston duets on "Drifting" and "The Drive", the latter has been a hit on the Christian rock chart in America - no mean feat for an indie band. As rock goes, Sundry make imaginative spiritual music and there's plenty here to rival the most established Christian bands out there. -Mike Rimmer User-contributed text is available under t
# Why This Album Merits Your Attention This work presents modern rock that engages thoughtfully with questions of faith and community, distinguishing itself through collaborative ambition and genuine vocal interplay. The inclusion of guest contributions—notably Mac Powell's presence on "The Least of These"—suggests an artist unafraid to build bridges across stylistic boundaries, creating moments where distinct voices enhance rather than overshadow one another. The album's thematic coherence around social consciousness and spiritual inquiry gives its rock instrumentation unexpected depth, moving beyond surface-level alternative conventions. What emerges is a project grounded in craft: layered arrangements, considered songwriting, and a willingness to let ideas breathe within accessible musical frameworks
