Artist
British, Beach Boys-loving vocal maestro, Tony Rivers, left Harmony Grass in the summer of 1970, going on to become the leader of Cliff Richard's harmony vocal team in the mid-1970s. In the interim, he had worked as a session singer, performing on the Hallmark's labels 'Top of the Pops' LPs, while releasing numerous singles under various aliases. These included studio aggregation Summer Wine, who also featured long-term associate John Perry, former Cat Stevens producer Mike Hurst and ex-Spencer Davis Group guitarist Ray Fenwick. Summer Wine released four singles in the U.K. between June 1972 and July 1973. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
