Born and raised in Bharatpur, Nepal, Sujan Chapagain has made a name for himself by blending traditional Nepali folk sound with contemporary pop, modern fusion elements. He is known for his soulful, emotional voice with a deal of classical influences. His musical inclination was influenced by his mother, who sang folk songs. He formed his own folk-fusion band, "Sujan Chapagain & The Infinity," in 2022 to perform his music live, often integrating traditional instruments like sarangi, tabla, bamboo flute etc into his modern sound.
