Artist
Sludgy Psychedelic Hardcore to listen to when you're wasted. They released a split 7" with Dystopia and a Split 12" with Gasp in the 1990's then split up for a decade or so before rising from the ashes in 2009. In 2010 they released a limited edition discography CD that included the previous vinyl releases and 4 new studio songs and a new live recording with their new lineup. Before changing their name to Suffering Luna, the original members were in a band called Christfall, who were a bit less freaked out, and more hardcore-ish. "Suffering Luna's been around since the '90s and keep resurfacing with a hellish brand of psychedelic hardcore laced with weird polyrhythms, media-soundbite samples, tape loops and hairy walls of guitar that owe to the artier strains of Scando black metal and '70s Euro kosmiche musik. Their performances are grueling, paranoid affairs that burn their way into trance." - LAWeekly User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
