Artist
Susan Horowitz is a Jewish singer-songwriter and Jewish guitar player who lives in coastal Maine. She writes, often in partnership with Rabbi Lev Baesh, highly singable and usable modern Jewish songs appropriate for worship services at synagogues, camps, youth groups, Jewish holidays, and religious ceremonies. Her debut contemporary Jewish music CD, Eleven Doors Open, was produced in Boston by the multi-talented Jewish performer and composer, Josh Nelson. Sue's new Jewish music CD, In the Water , was recorded in Nashville, and produced by Grammy-nominated Mark Niemiec, and well-known Jewish rocker Dan Nichols. Sue's "Hinei Mah Tov" has been included on Transcontinental Press' Ruach 5767 Jewish music compilation, and her " Y'varechecha" was a finalist in the spiritual category of the Just Plain Folks awards. Sue has performed Jewish music at CAJE (Coalition for the Advancements in Jewish Education) and at the URJ's (Union for Reform Judaism) North American Biennial, as well as congregations all over the Northeast. Her offical website is www.suehorowitz.com. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
