Substate Reactor formed in the spring of 1993 consisting of members Kreg Brow and Edwin Lange. "STERILIZE", their first independent release, marked a cornerstone for future sonic endevores. Richard Miller joined Substate Reactor after a chance encounter while playing with his band "To Live In Fear", while Kreg was performing with the now infamous "Deprogrammers". The current active members are Kreg Brow, and Richard Miller. Edwin Lange has moved on to other projects but his contributions and friendship will be forever cherished. "Substate Reactor is an experiment of great and terrible need. The music is the dissemination of raw truth through hard music, it has a vicious sense of urgency to exist. The project had almost expired and extinguished itself, but the will of creation and artistic catharsis is the need that Substate Reactor and cannot deny, for its destruction signals our own."
