There are two groups called Suboptimal. One of them is an electronic music producer that was born and raised in Melbourne. His first introduction into dance music was back when he was a fresh faced teenager going to his first "docks" rave in Melbourne back in 2000. After traveling the world listening to all kinds of different DJ's he finally decided to start producing his own music. Still in the early stages of his career, this up and coming producer is set to have a very promising career! The other is a band from Berlin which are the twin brothers Mark and Stefan Widdowson (22, guitar, bass), the elder brother Simon Widdowson (25, vocals), and the Friends Christoph Bruges (25, guitar) and Marco Teriete (22, drums). 8 years ago they have been founded as a school with the claim "We just play our own songs and sing German.
