Artist
Jai Menon from Flushing, NY, also known as Stylebhai and FBI (reggae stage name - Full Blooded Indian) has been a singer/rapper known worldwide since he released his solo debut album, "Stylebhai", with India based music label Magnasound. His music video, "Stylebhai", was the first production for Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) and was directed by Nandy's son Khushan. It featured Bollywood actress Ashwini Bhave and was a hit on MTV Asia and Channel V. In fact, his self-titled debut album, "Stylebhai", was the first pop album to feature Shaan and his sister Sagarika. Shaan was brought on to sing for the album by grooves brothers Salim and Suleiman Merchant. Stylebhai then teamed up with music director Raju Singh and did the first ever remix song in India, for a compilation album titled, "Roop Inka Mastana", which shot him and singer Shaan to fame. Raju Singh's "Roop Inka Mastana" went platinum (one million sold) because of the Shaan/Stylebhai remix song/video "Roop Tera Mastana". Shaan sang the song and Stylebhai sang the reggae part which raved about the beauty of Indian women who became world famous and were universally approved.
