Following the demise of legendary Moreno Valley, California bands Foundation and Optic Rain, synth-geek songwriters Nathan Van Hala and Stevil sought a viable outlet for their creativity. With the addition of John Pereyra on guitar, Kristen Van Hala on flute, and Kayvon on bass, the band forged a unique sound in the burgeoning Inland Empire alternative music scene. With its brief lifespan flashing through the mid-'90's, the band splintered into factions, leaving behind a modest catalog of material culled from their two self-released demos, plus a few unreleased tracks. Members Stevil and John Pereyra went on to form the mind-melt marvel that is Brainwashaudio.
