Strong Mint was a blues rock and psychedelic rock band from Rīga, Latvia. They were actively rehearsing and playing together from late 2009 till the end of 2011. First public performance took place in a local rock café in April 2010. Till the end of summer the band had already created a considerable number of songs. First studio record was produced and instantly broadcasted on local radio station in September, 2010. The band was characterized as one of the best new bands in the country. Currently Strong Mint is not playing anymore, they have moved on and their members can now be seen performing with such bands as Pyro Trees, Carnival Youth, Coolmans Report, Tax Free and other projects. Members: Rihards Kolmanis - guitars, vocals; Aleksis Luriņš - guitars; Jānis Polis - bass; Pēteris Ozols - drums.
