Band Members: Miles Marlin-Bass David Frisbie-Vocals Leo Zayas-Drums Brett Walston-Guitar Strip The Stars formed in December 2010 after four veteran local musicians converged from their own various projects and bands. Guitarist Brett Walston, Bassist Miles Marlin, Vocalist David Frisbie and Drummer Leo Zayas joined forces for a few nights of basement jams to see if there could be a possibility of musical chemistry. After several hours of jamming guitar riffs, drum beats, melodies, and long chats of band projects and adventures, STS discovered it’s own formula for the music that will project their own influences and musicianship onto the Front Range scene.A four piece band, STS defines their musical style as pure hook-driven rock, with solid bass and drums that provide a strong foundation for the creative guitar riffs and soaring melodies of every song. With only a few local performances in the Denver area in 2011, STS is putting the final touches on seven songs that have been carefully recorded and professionally mixed and mastered by Cult To Follow and former Union Underground frontman Bryan Scott. 2012 looks to bring a strong debut release backed by live performances that will be sure to turn heads.
