Striking Poses are Dan - singer/ songwriter/ producer and Deryn - cellist/ pianist/ composer. Roughly. Dan plays guitar, bass and sings like an angel or demon, depending on his mood and how much whiskey he's had. Deryn is a classically trained cellist and pianist, and doesn't sing unless she's feeling vindictive. The two have been working (and living) together for nearly a year, and when they're not being mushy and romantic, get round to writing, recording and performing some cracking tunes. They have been known to busk to adoring crowds in Leeds City Centre. Most of the the crowd are adoring, anyway - the rest are just jealous.
