Blues rock/folk fusion band Strike Up formed in early 2013 by longtime friends Jake Zeigler, Justin Shariat, Andy Bechtol, and Luke Denmark. With three of the four members currently holed up together in a duplex just outside downtown Lowell, Massachusetts, the band has been playing frivolously. Strike Up's unique sound comes from completely different musical backgrounds coming together and pumping out these songs. The fusion band out of Lowell brings in sounds influenced by folk, blues, jazz, rock, and even punk and metal.
