There’s more than one artist with this name: 1) A brutal death metal band from Mallorca, Spain. 2) A post-punk band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. 3) A deathcore band from Oklahoma, USA. 1) Strangled is a brutal death metal band from Mallorca,Spain, formed by members of Ether and Desmodus, with a sound like a Suffocation, Immolation & Sinister. They recorded a promotional demo, and later relased a split with Defloration. 2) "The Edmonton-based band Strangled, are a strong musical platform, with each member equally supporting it. Rounded out by Moira MacKinnon on guitar and vocals, Nick Vojacek on guitar, Brandi Strauss on bass and Graeme MacKinnon on drums, all four members are presently involved with other projects in addition to Strangled (including Beauty Rest, Rhythm of Cruelty, The Strap, and No Problem to name a few) and have been active in the Edmonton punk scene for many years.
