Strange Things is a song writing duo based in Bathurst, somewhere west of Sydney, NSW, Australia. Keith Nesbitt is a scientist and painter who teaches the secret art of numbers. Richard Newell is a farmer and maker of software, but also a dedicated student of noise. Both of them are Strange Things by all accounts. Strange Things soar across many landscapes and touch on many styles. Strange Things are neither the brand new kids on the block or a faded glimpse of times gone by. Strange Things inhabit their own unique world, populating it with the colours, melodies and lights that enrich their strange lives. Their first album, aptly named Landscape, takes you through many different moods, grappling with those three big Strange Things: life; death and; love. A second album is nearing completion.
