Strange Cruise was the name of a 1980s British pop group, led by former Visage singer Steve Strange and Wendy Wu, the former singer of The Photos. Steve Strange stated in a taped interview for the West German television program Musikladen that Elite model Leza Cruz was to sing a duet with him and would be a member of the band Strange Cruise, and that their first single would be a cover of Sonny & Cher's The Beat Goes On with a big band sound.
