There are at least two bands called Straight Shooter: 1. Straight Shooter (Düsseldorf, Germany), Straight Shooter was a late 70s kraut-/hardrockband, formed by ex- Streetmark singer and producer Georg Buschmann. Their best-known songs are My Time - Your Time and Why (due to an early lostwave mystery). Both of these songs were released on their 1980 album. They had 5 albums and a few singles released from 1978 until early 1984. The rest of the line-up was: Günther Striepling (guitar, bass), Hans Plankert (keyboards, piano), Roland Haase (bass), Peter Kegler (drums, percussion), Friedhelm Misiejuk (drums), Peter Rabowski (guitar), Frank Kobe (guitar), Mark Wulf (bass) and Great Zeebee (drums) 2. Straight Shooter (Bath and Bristol, UK). Straight Shooter are a four piece rock covers band, based in Bristol, England. They got together in 2005, and the current line up has been together since the end of 2006. We ended up in the classic rock category, covering songs by the likes of Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Status Quo... you get the picture! The line-up is: Mike Wilton - Vocals/Guitar Andy Manners - Guitar/Vocals Sim Didcott - Drums/Vocals Phil Leahy - Bass/Vocals You can listen to live recordings at http://www.straightshooterrocks.com/.
