In spring of 2007, the few real rocknrollas of central Wisconsin demanded something new and bold in the music scene. Four high school friends from Stevens Point answered the call, fusing garage rock and metal with high intensity rocknroll. The band was put on hiatus later that year as the guitarist moved to the east coast, but the call of rock brought him home again, and on a cold winter day in 2008, the band reunited under the name Stormstrike, determined to rock the shit out of everything in the world. Now, one year later, Stormstrike has gained popularity in their hometown, developing a cult following of 'Stormchasers', and eventually catching the eye of Bob Burns, underground mastermind, who offered to record them. What followed iss the band's debut album, "Make Total Destroy", which intends to do just that. The album will be released on March 14th on Mad Cook Records. Stormstrike has since been described as "The most poweful band in the world", and "So awesome it will make your head explode".
