Stop The Malarky, a group from Oakland, CA, play rock on the local scene. Members- Danny Passmore-Guitar/Vocals Matt Kolhede-Bass/Backup Vocals Peter Smith-Drums Their history according to their myspace (myspace.com/stopthemalarky): Well The Magical Tale goes as such.... We went to peters basement and grabbed whatever instrument was closest to us. Matt grabbed a bass, Danny grabbed a guitar, and Peter the asshole he is grabbed drum sticks. we played brainstew by greenday. It was beautiful. We started taking leasons from god himslf Jim Gleason and started learning some of our favorite songs by other bands... Then one day Danny said "I wrote something." Matt and Peter said. "ok lets hear it." Matt and Peter liked it. Matt made up a cool bass line. Peter hit things with sticks and eventually we made up a song. Thus Stop The Malarky was formed! We started making up more stuff and were still making stuff up. we think it sounds good.
