Stop The Rain are an up-and-coming five piece alternative rock band from Perth, Scotland. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Blair Davie, bassist Sam Flood, vocalist and guitarist Sam Steele, keys player Ben Muir and drummer Kyle Fummey. Stop The Rain formed in December 2015 and quickly recorded their debut EP "Save My Life". After releasing it in January 2016, saxophonist Chris Blair left the band. The lineup changed, and saw the entrance of bassist Sam Flood, then lead to a complete stylistic re-brand. The band's new alt/rock sound is accompanied by heart felt lyrics and tight harmonies and this led to successes such as ranking high in national competitions and radio play (including BBC, and Amazing Radio). In October of 2016 the band released their first single with the new line up entitled 'Home Is Where My Heart Is' through their record label, Eighty - Eight Records. The single was recorded at The Depot Studios with Mark Morrow. The song began gaining rave reviews and tens of thousands of plays online. Shortly after, the band brought in a new member; keys player Ben Muir, to add to their sound. The band released another 2 singles ('Skylight' and 'Ghosts') in the lead up to their EP "Sinking" which was released on the 15th of September 2017.
