As the co-founder of Stoney Entertainment, Stoney Jonez began his music career in 2006, making hip-hop beats and rapping as part of the Stoney Kids. They released a full 15-track album in July 2007, as well as several singles since then. Starting in early 2012, Stoney developed a taste for dubstep and house music. Finding it easier and more fun to produce than his previous hip-hop endeavors, he began producing EDM tracks almost exclusively. Now Stoney Jonez is preparing to release his first EP bearing the same Stoney Entertainment label he started out with back in 2006. he is also planning a full-length album under his soon-to-be-announced EDM division of Stoney Entertainment.
