Cork/Dublin, Ireland, February 2008 - present: www.myspace.com/stonethrowingyouths Stone Throwing Youths is music and lyric writing that started in Spring 2008. Though the words and music progressed nicely, finding a voice and sets of hands to perform them proved a fruitless and often frustrating struggle. Then somewhere towards the beginning of September 2008 the songs decided to take matters into their own hands, and after a little rehearsal, 5 of the songs recorded themselves over 2 days in late October. Add a little mixing and mastering and the songs have taken shape into a sort of mini album, which will be available in the not so distant future. Till then, two of the more senior songs have offered their services for your listening pleasure on this page, and would appreciate your comments and criticisms. Stone Throwing Youths self titled, debut EP consists of 5 songs written, performed and produced by multi instrumentalist Brian Casey. Two accomplished musicians have been recruted for live performances on drums and bass, and live shows are expected to begin in February 2009.
