Heavy enough for the metal fans but with the soaring, twisting vocals of McWilliams and their headstrong DIY ethic stonecrow have placed themselves solidly in the underground alternative scene, shepherding a loyal cult following. Balancing swollen, discoloured guitar riffs reminiscent of Corrosion of Conformity and Alice in Chains and the melodic currents of Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots, stonecrow ebb in and out of many of rocks’ heavier genres.
