Stone Carpet plays a mix of metal, indie rock and sweaty grunge. A dynamic soundscape with heavy riffs and melodic vocals, energetic drums and throbbing bass lines. Stone Carpet started playing in 2007 with Magnus Stenbäcken on guitar and vocals and Mattias Andersson on drums. They recorded an EP in the winter of 2007/2008. The first EP was called Silence!. Stone Carpet worked on new songs during the spring and summer of 2008. Five of these were recorded for EP number two during the winter of 2008/2009, together with the newly found bassist Jörgen Eriksson. Stone Carpet's second EP is called 'EEE'. Mattias Andersson left the band in November 2009. In february 2010, Stone Carpet recruited Björn Stenmark to play the drums.
