Stigmata Dawn is a 5 piece abomination hailing from the blackest abyss in Nelspruit. This 5 piece harmony uses darkened Melodic Death Metal to seduce the crowd into a malevolent, frenzied orgy from hell. The lyrical content is based on various occult themes, real life occurrences as well as the disturbing nature of our human kind. Stigmata Dawn tries to bring a fresh sound to the Death/Black metal scene. With a history dating back even prior to its birth, Stigmata Dawn was originally founded by members Ricky & Lawrence. The name was initially taken on as the title to a past song, from which the song(and its intention) became a walking manifest. Stigmata Dawn is now a fully loaded gun pointed by an additional 3 degenerates, each of whom contribute their own unique style and influences to help sharpen its purpose. Stigmata Dawn boasts a wide array of lyrical and musical composition and enjoys playing the martyr for the undermined. In early 2011, It has been decided by all members that Stigmata Dawn is currently inactive as fellow member and guitarist Lawrence had relocated to further himself. As all members were close friends, a replacement for Lawrence was non-negotiable as it would not ever be the same again. It is with great regret that the chapter ends as such, but perhaps something darker brews amidst the pages to follow... 'Beyond Eden...
