Artist
Stewart Dudley commenced classical piano lessons at the age of six. This classical training is evident in his touch when performing on the keyboard. He has played with top pop bands in Australia, performing in the 1960's on the same circuit with well-known bands of the period. Stewart concentrates on composing, arranging, and performing his unique instrumental music. His compositions are music for the soul, sensitive and soothing. Stewart has won the Johnny Dennis Music Award with his song, 'Boulevarde of Broken Dreams'. Two of his instrumental tracks were also placed in the winning top ten entries under the 'Soundtrack' category of the '2000 Australian Song Writers' Association's National Song Writing Contest'. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation wrote 'In Stewart Dudley we have a musician with both an astonishing mastery of his instrument and a truly inspired and moving insight into the human soul and spirit'.
