For most of his life, Steve has been involved in music ministry at some level. This has resulted in a wide variety of opportunities and experiences. But when all of that is stripped away, what remains is a heart that loves to worship God, and hands that express that worship through intimate piano music. Despite the hundreds and hundreds of "worship bands" making their sound heard in churches and festivals around the world, Steve Sensenig captures the essence of intimate and personal worship with solo piano. Whether it's a CD used by a single person praying in their home, or leading an entire congregation of people into an intimate encounter with Jesus Christ, Steve's music touches people of all ages and provides a soothing soundtrack for the spiritual journey of any individual. Steve began playing the piano at the age of 3, with the encouragement and help of his mother and older sisters. Through his early years, Steve learned quite a bit from the music books that were available to him, and he quickly began to excel in classical music. By the time Steve reached high school, he was setting his sights on a career as a classical concert pianist. At the age of 13, he began playing regularly for the school choirs, church services, etc. Throughout high school, Steve gathered numerous awards and recognitions for his playing, and immediately after graduating from high school, Steve released a recording of his own arrangements of hymns.
