The current Steve Pryor Band includes Steve on guitar / vocals, Lloyd Price on guitar, Skin Tight Dave White on bass, and Damon Daniel on drums. This unit has been playing together for the last 2 years and is a well-oiled machine, hitting on all cylinders. Steve recently recorded some material at the legendary Church Studio for a project called The New Tulsa Sound Vol. 2. This experience really sparked a creative fire and was a catalyst for this project. There's a genuine excitement and buzz about the opportunity to make the best album of Steve's illustrious career with a dynamite band at an historic studio that has hosted the likes of Leon Russell, Steve Ripley, JJ Cale, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Willis Alan Ramsey, Tom Petty, and many others. Biography In 1978 Muddy Waters told Steve, "Don't ever put that guitar down!" Since that time he has shared the stage with John Lee Hooker, Albert King, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Greg Allman, and Dr. John, Johnny Winter, to name a few. His tours with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and countless performances in concerts, night clubs, and blues festivals have left enduring impressions on all who attended. Steve's guitar style and singing encompass a history of Blues Americana without compromising his love for extreme, rocking Stratocaster guitar tones.
