Stereo Static is the work of recording engineer Peter Elfman, a Bronx Native with a love of a wide variety of music. This artist's current catalog consists primarily of remixes and mash-ups, with an eye towards geek-oriented sources. "Swamp Doctor", a mash-up of Juno Reactor's "Swamp Thing" and three versions of the theme to the British classic science fiction television show "Doctor Who" is a prime example of this. Peter Elfman spent three years playing trumpet in a school orchestra at the start of his musical training before he got his first taste of electronic music in a class designed to teach just that. His continued musical training includes piano, electric guitar, bass guitar, and the fore-mentioned trumpet.
