There are two different bands under the name Step On It: an american, and a hungarian one. The hungarian Step On It has been founded in 2004 and since that time working with same line-up. The base of their music is intense, fast, short hardcore, but they’re all like punk, crust, grind, thrash, death, black, doom, etc. bands as well. That’s plain to be heard in their songs, spare to fit in style categories – their music is a true ALLSCHOOL MONSTER. In 2004 they made their debut "Street Folklore", since then a few split, compilations and self-contained recorded as well. Fortunately some labels feels potencies and possibility in the band and helped on foreign releases and spreading. In 2006 their sophomore record came out under the name "Allschool Monster". The american Step On It! formed in St. Louis in 2003. During that time they released 2 versions of demos, a 7" and a cdep. In addition, they toured the east coast with SideXwalk from chicago, the midwest for a brief time with outbreak and plan of attack, and the entire country the following year with various bands including sinking ships, final fight, and the haunted life on the west coast. theyre done now... with the music part, not the drinking part.
