Artist
Better known as the musical force behind Seattle's Supercommuter, Stenobot (aka Andy Myers) brings a unique blend of quirky Game Boy sounds and dreamy pop melodies on his first solo album. Featuring guest vocals by Jen Wood (solo artist, vocalist on The Postal Service's 'Nothing Better' and 'Such Great Heights') and Jeff Suffering (Suffering and the Hideous Thieves). In 2009, Andy's son Julian was diagnosed with leukemia. Julian loves music—especially drums—and when you're being treated for leukemia, you're not allowed to be around other people or go out very much. So Andy and Julian spent a lot of time jamming. Sink or Swim We'll Go Together was born out of those jams. At its core, it's a collection of songs documenting Julian's battle with cancer, from diagnosis to remission to continued treatment. 100% of proceeds from Sink or Swim We'll Go Together go to Child's Play, a charity for children's hospitals.
