The Stella Project is a Minneapolis based artists compilation album produced by Brian Shackle. Released August 2010, all of the songs on the Xoxo album were recorded by American Idol season 8 finalist Casey Carlson, including the hit "Aeroplane" which was featured in Gossip Girl, Bad Girls Club and other various TV shows. Casey Carlson is a musician, host & actress based in Los Angeles, CA. Casey has hosted The CW Twin Cities Beat, a weekly show that highlights the arts and entertainment around the Twin Cities. She also launched the production of a new web series for the station, The CW Twin Cities Airwaves, that highlights the fashion and music featured on the CW’s prime time shows, like Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries. In 2011, Casey toured with Frankmusik. On the tour, she sung his song "No I.D." in duet with him.
