He began improvising in piano at the age of four. One year later, he made his debut in front of audience. He studied at the Conservatoire of Athens.Still studying, he received the 1st Prize at "Kaiti Papaioannou" Panhellenic Piano Competition. He has studied with a scholarship by the French government, orchestration, conducting, composition and cinema music at Ecole Normale. While studying, he was awarded with the 1st Composition Prize at the International Modern Dance Festival Val de Marne. In 1991 he presented his composition "Thalassa" at the opening of the European Swimming Competition. During '90s he appears in discography as a singer of his compositions and besides the albums and the concerts regarding the greek song, he collaborates with orchestras such as the Prague Radio Orchestra, the Sofia Radio Orchestra, the Amadeus Orchestra as a soloist and composer. He has participated in the greatest festivals of the world and he has recently performed at Athens Concert Hall, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Odeon Herodus Atticus, at Prague Festival, Carre Theatre of Amsterdam, Dresden Classic Festival, Berlin etc. He has composed, for the account of the International Olympic Committee the Special Olympics anthem. He also collaborates with the famous Portuguese artist Dulce Pontes touring around the world since 2003, being her permanent conductor, orchestrator and pianist.
