Statues in Motion is a post-punk/new wave band from Athens, Greece that formed in 1981, and originally consisted of members Vasilis Paleokostas (Billy Knight), George Dalambiras (Alvin Dean), and Ilias Mitsakis (Elli Kane). Their only LP, the self-titled "Statues In Motion", would be released in 1983, and was produced by V. Tsimidopoulos for Polygram rec, of whom would go on to say that the LP sold less than 100 copies. The group would go silent after the LP's release, and would disband the same year. According to their Facebook page, the group was recently reformed by Billy Knight, the sole remaining member.
