A project led by Danish composer and musician Martin Vognsen. In 2010 SCATAW released a "twin cd" project consisting of two individual CDs which sound very different, but are somehow connected. The CDs rely on contributions from drummer Yasuhiro Yoshigaki (Altered States, Otomo Yoshihide’s New Jazz Orchestra, ROVO), percussionist Kumiko Takara (Bondage Fruit, P.O.N., Warehouse), bassist Hiroaki Mizutani (Kahimi Karie, Phonolite) and the Danish National Chamber Orchestra. The first CD is a raw trio recording of guitar, drums and percussion, and the second CD features a mix of distorted atmospheres, ambient noises and rushes of rhythm.
