Starving Furniture Collection was born right after the fall of Rising Impact. Lead guitarist Curt Dennis decided to form a new band, now that his old one was no longer. He quickly contacted Drew Williams and they started recruiting and the band was quickly formed. The original line up was: Curt Dennis- Lead Drew Williams- Rhythm Kyle Fitzgerald (bassist for Rising Impact)- Bass Kyle Burroughs (a fellow classmate of Curt and Kyle)- Drums Ash Schmeer (Burrough's friend)- Vocals But shortly after our first gig, Ash quit, and we brought Hank Winter, and old childhood acquaintance, aboard. The band formed when the members were just 14-16 years old. They have influences all across the board, from Symphonic Metal to Funk, from Rock & Roll to Punk, and everything in between. They also broke the typical teenage stereotype, with a combined experience of 20+ years, writing mind blowing originals, catchy riffs, grooved bass lines, and putting on a great live show with their improvised solos. The name "Starving Furniture Collection" came to be when the band was driving down to a gig at the Pepsi Center. We were original known as "WhiteDogPaws", based after Burrough's dog, Teddy (it was his nickname before we learned his actual name was Teddy), until we saw a couch on the side of the road, we named it "Ted", with a sad look in it's face. It looked hungry, so we stopped at a nearby burger joint and brought it back a meal, inspiring us to come up with the name "Starving Furniture Collect
