There are at least two bands under the name Stargaze: 1) Stargaze (often typeset as s t a r g a z e) is a European orchestral collective of contemporary musicians, an ever-evolving project marrying modern composition with alternative attitudes and sounds, working in innumerable collaborations with renowned artists and locations, continually closing redundant gaps between classical and popular music. 2) Formed in Sendai in April 2023, centered around Vo. su-i and Gt. nodatan. Bass: Mocha Guitar: nodatan Vocal: su-i Drums: yassy Nodatan, who has been creating an introspective worldview based on loud rock, approached su-i, who was active in covering Japanese music and uploading to YouTube and SNS, and the two began creating songs that blended each other's individual personalities. Shortly thereafter, bassist Mocha and drummer Yassy joined the band, forming the current four-member female vocal band. On December 26, 2023, the first single "your silhouette" was released. The first live performance was on January 8, 2024 at Sendai Roccateria. On the same day, the second single "searchlights" was released.
